How you can help
Over the years, the School has enjoyed tremendous support from individuals and families who share the vision for Christian Education. The sacrificial giving of time, energy, skills, finance, and goodwill have helped the school to be established and to develop over the last twenty years. Today, in 2008, we know we need the support of a greater number of people who can bring a fresh dimension to our endeavours as we seek to take the school forward into the future.
Prayer
* Prayer support. We would ask you as individuals, or your church or fellowship to include the School in your prayers. We ask for
* God’s blessing in the day to day running of the School
* Support and encouragement to students and teaching staff
* Growth in numbers of students, staff and supporters, and growth in favour and influence with the people and agencies with whom we come into contact.
If you would like to become a prayer partner and/or attend our monthly prayer meetings, please e-mail or telephone us for more details.
Donations and Gifts
We aim to meet the very basic day-to-day running costs of the school through the contributions from participating families. However, we need to raise more finances in order to pay for staff, maintain the school facilities and develop these further.
We are very grateful for all financial support however large or small.
Since the launch of The School of the Lion in 1988, many individuals, as well as some churches, have made generous gifts of money which have enabled the work of Christ-centred education in Gloucestershire to develop and grow. Sometimes gifts have been made for particular projects while other gifts have been made towards general running costs.
In June 2005, the CFET Partnership Programme was designed to provide the regular income required to underpin the vision of CFET in establishing a new permanent home for the work, Beauchamp House. CFET is already benefiting from a growing base of regular gifts from individuals, churches and businesses. For as little as £3.00 per month partners can express their support for the CFET vision.

Bursary Scheme
Occasionally we have families who want to continue their children’s education but hit financial hardship, or families who would like to have their children attend but have difficulty raising the required monthly contribution.
If you would like to support such families financially, however small a monthly commitment, please contact us for more details.
Voluntary help
* Voluntary help in the day-to-day running of the School or in a variety of other ways!
We already receive invaluable help generously given to the school by a number of friends of the school. We always welcome more volunteers! Whether it’s teaching a group, helping in a Learning Centre, praying, driving a group on a day visit, hearing children read, gardening, general maintenance, cleaning, administration, raising funds or promoting the work of the School in your church. If you would like to help us in any way, please let us know.
